Extra Fine Midwestern Amish Colors Center Diamond Quilt(hs3168)

Bright lively quilt with especially fine quilting. Classic center diamond design made here by the Amish for over 300 years. Note that this quilt is square (as are most antique center diamond quilts) and will require pillow shams when used on a bed. The sashes are bright golden yellow, the diamond Burgundy,the fill surround the diamond and corner blocks palm green, and the border is black. Quilted with black thread making the fine abundant quilting standout. Well made in Lancaster by an Amish woman who has included her initials in the quilting. Made to be used as a bed quilt on a queen size bed or as a wonderful wall hanging.
