Quiet Elegance! Very sophisticated fabric selections. This design is also often called Trip Around the World, or Sunshine and Shadow. We especially like the border print. Excellent piecework and nice uniform stitching. Made by an Amish woman here in Lancaster.
A single sheet of white cotton muslin covers the back of the quilt. The quilting density is good, averaging about 75 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The stitching is good with about 7 straight and uniform stitches per inch.A high quality quilt.

C Jean Horst truly provides a splash of color with this wonderful new quilt. It features an atractive combination of fabrics that we have not seen Jean use before. Made by a local Amish woman -- note the careful patchwork piecing and the fine quilting. C Jean Horst has signed and dated it . This quilt is symmetric and may be used sideways on a king size bed.

King Tans and Multicolor Log Cabin on the Point Quilt(hs3960)

Great design with fantastic coloring by C Jean Horst. Wonderful variation on classic log cabin, with circular quiting. We have not seen a quilt like this one before. Made here in Lancaster by an Amish woman, and signed in ink on back by C Jean Horst.
