Spectacular! Superb fabrics and extraordinary patchwork piecing. Note the interesting border treatment. Heirloom quality. Made here in Lancaster by an Amish woman.
A single sheet of white cotton muslin covers the back of the quilt. The quilting density is good, averaging about 110 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The stitching is very good with 7 to 8 stitches per inch.A high quality quilt.

King Navy Moss and Gold Mariner's Compass Quilt(hs4138)

Wow! A lovely Mariner Compass with fabrics selected by quilt designer Dolores Yoder. Dolores made the top and an Amish friend did the fine quilting. Note the exceptionally striking border treatment. and the outstanding toile print surround the compass This design demands and this quilt delivers very precise and sharp piecing. Dolores signed her name and the year (2008) in embroidery on the front of the quilt near one of the corners.
