Wow! C Jean Horst has outdone herself with this quilt -- 43 different prints are used and the patchwork is made up of over 6000 pieces. Lovely and amazing. Made here in Lancaster by an Amish woman. Note the precision of the patchwork piecing. This quilt is symmetric and may be used sideways on a king size bed. Signed in ink on back by C Jean Horst.
A single sheet of a fine cotton tan on tan foliage print covers the back of the quilt. The quilting density is satisfactory, averaging about 75 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The stitching is good with about 6 stitches per inch.A high quality quilt.
