Wow! Wonderful variation on the classic Trip Around the World design. Great patchwork piecing and lovely fabric selections. Made here in Lancaster by an Amish woman.
The back of the quilt is covered with a lovely cotton floral tapistry style print with coloring that complements the quilt top.. The quilting density is good, averaging about 115 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The stitching is good with 7 stitches per inch.A high quality quilt.

A pleasing combination of the Lone Star and Trip Around the World designs rich bold coloring . The background is a fine tan on cream cotton print. Note the heart quilting surrounding the star. Excellent patchwork piecing and fine quilting by its local Amish maker.

King Bright Multicolor Triple Irish Chain Quilt(hs4249)

While this quilt doesn't look at old fashioned, the bright bold fabrics, the quilting pattern, and the border are all similar to Irish Chain Quilts made in Lancaster in the early 20th Centuries. The background fabric is cream white. Note the care taken in the fine quilting and piecework. Made by a Amish woman in her home.
