Exquisite fabric selection makes this Trip Around the World standout. The border fabric has a lovely pale aqua tone This quilt is well made with excellent patchwork piecing and very good quilting stitches. Note that this quilt is symmetric, and may be used sideways on a king size bed. Made here in Lancaster by an Amish woman.
A single sheet of soft cream white cotton muslin covers the back of the quilt. The quilting density is adequate, averaging about 80 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The stitching is good with about 6 stitches per inch.A high quality quilt.
