The Center Diamond is one of the oldest Amish quilt designs. This quilt with its Navy border, rust-orange-red diamond, purple fill, and green sash uses the classic Amish color scheme. Thin batting and abundant quilting give it both the look and feel of an antique quilt. Made in a local Amish home by an Amish woman who incorporated her initials in the quilting in the lower left corner of the quilt.

The back of the quilt is covered with solid Navy blue cotton fabric. The quilting density is very good, averaging about 140 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The stitching is very good with about 7 stitches per inch. A high quality quilt.
