Navy Red and Green Blooming Nine Patch Quilt

Wonderful watercolor style quilt with fabrics selected by C Jean Horst. Note the unusual patchwork design and how cleverly jean employs it to move from light to dark coloring. Excellent patchowrk piecing and fine quilting. Made here in Lancaster by an Amish woman. Photographs can not begin to capture its beauty! This quilt is symmetric and may be used sideways on a king size bed.

The back of the quilt is covered with a single sheet of a fine tan on tan foliage cotton print. The quilting density is good averaging about 100 linear inches of quilting per square foot. The quilting is good with about 7 stitches per inch.A high quality quilt.
