The back is covered with a single sheet of soft cream-white cotton muslin. The center of the quilt is heavily quilted, the border less so (overall there is about 125 linear inches of quilting per square foot). The quality of the stitching is very good with 7 uniform stitches per inch.A high quality quilt.
