Stunning bouquets of Burgundy and Navy iris! Fantastic fabric selection and excellent applique work. Also note the abundance of fine quilting and the natural look of the leaves and stems. The border treatment is especially nice.. The background fabric is solid cream white cotton. Made by a local Amish woman in her home here in Lancaster.
A single sheet of a fine white on white cotton floral print covers the back of the quilt. The quilting density is very good, averaging about 140 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The stitching is very good with 7 to 8 stitches per inch.A high quality quilt.
