Great fabrics! The Trip Around the World design (also called Color Splash) gives the quilt maker the opportunity to show her skill in selecting fabrics -- the Amish maker of this quilt chose well and boldly! Great value.
A single sheet of solid cream white cotton fabric covers the back of the quilt. The quilting density is good, averaging about 125 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The stitching is good with about 5 to 6 stitches per inch.A high quality quilt.

A pleasing combination of the Lone Star and Trip Around the World designs rich bold coloring . The background is a fine tan on cream cotton print. Note the heart quilting surrounding the star. Excellent patchwork piecing and fine quilting by its local Amish maker.

A wonderful example of how less can be more -- a very simple design with just two fabrics and the result is a delightful stunning quilt!. With its crimson red fabric it will brighten any bedroom. Background is a tone on tone white cotton print. Note the fine quilting and careful patchwork piecing. Made here in Lancaster by an Amish woman. This quilt is symmetric and may be used sideways on a king-size bed.

King Bright Multicolor Triple Irish Chain Quilt(hs4249)
112 inches wide by 112 inches long -- $1120
Irish Chain quilts are known to have been made in Lancaster since the early 1800's. While this quilt doesn't look at old fashioned, the bright bold fabrics, the quilting pattern, and the border are all similar to Irish Chain Quilts made in Lancaster in the early 20th Centuries. The background fabric is cream white. Note the care taken in the fine quilting and piecework. Made by a Amish woman in her home.
