Wonderful bold variation on classic lone star design.with outstanding country style fabrics. Be sure to note the abundance of interesting quilting surrounding the stars. Made by an Amish woman. This quilt is symmetric and may be used sideways on a king size bed.
Solid cream white cotton fabric covers the back of the quilt. The quilting density is good, averaging about 140 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The stitching is very good with about 8 stitches per inch.A high quality quilt.

Wonderful variation on the classic Lone Star by quilt designer Dolores Yoder. Very attractive fabric selections, excellent piecing -- note that flower leaves and stem are pieced not appliquéd -- Wow! Dolores made the top and an Amish woman here in Lancaster did the outstanding abundant quilting. Note the interesting border treatment. Dolores signed here name and the year (2006) in embroidery on the front of the quilt near one of the corners. This quilt is symmetric and may be used sideways on a king size bed.
