A terrific anniversary or birthday gift
Dazzling variation on a compass star by quilt designer Dolores Yoder. Very attractive fabric selections, excellent piecing -- note all the extra excellent piecing on the sashes and abundant quilting . Delores made the top and an Amish woman here in Lancaster did the quilting. This quilt is symmetric and may be used sideways on a king size bed.
The back of the quilt is covered with solid light tan cotton fabric. The quilting density is very good, averaging about 140 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The stitching is good with 7 to 8 stitches per inch.A high quality quilt.
