The Color Splash (also often call Trip Around the World) design gives the quilt designer to work with a huge palette of colors and fabrics. C Jean Horst (Lancaster County's renowned quilt designer) created this masterpiece. It gracefully combines the satisfying colors found in a late summer flower garden. Be sure to take a close look at the border fabrics. This quilt was very well quilted by an Amish woman. Signed and dated. This quilt is symmetric and may be used sideways on a king size bed.

A single sheet of light tan on tan foliage cotton print covers the back of the quilt. The quilting density is more than adequate, averaging about 75 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The stitching is good with about 6 stitches per inch. A high quality quilt.
