A terrific anniversary or birthday gift
Brilliant! An old Lancaster County design from the 1800's. Bold fabric coloring. The background fabric is solid cream white cotton. Note the excellent quilting surrounding the star. Very good piecing. This quilt is symmetric and may be used sideways on a King size bed. It also would make a great wall hanging! Made by an Amish woman in her own home.
The back of the quilt is covered with solid cream white cotton fabric. The quilting density is good, averaging about 110 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The stitching is very good with about 8 stitches per inch. A high quality quilt.
