A terrific anniversary or birthday gift
Brilliant! An old Lancaster County design from the 1800's. Wonderful colors and a special border treatment. Note the nine patch blocks on the head and foot. Well made by an Amish women in her home. This quilt is symmetric and may be used sideways on a king size bed.
The back of the quilt is covered with a solid bright red-Burgundy cotton fabric. The quilting density is good, averaging about 100 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The stitching is good with about 7 stitches per inch.A high quality quilt.
