A bold design with a great collection of fabrics selected by C Jean Horst. Jean calls this variation on the Broken Star the Star of Bethlehem. Very well pieced and nicely quilted. Made by a local Amish woman in her home. Signed and dated in ink on back by C Jean Horst.
The back of the quilt is covered with a fine gold on cream foliage cotton print. The quilting density is good, averaging about 110 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The stitching is very good with about 7 stitches per inch.A high quality quilt.
