Quiet but with a sparkle! Lovely fabric selections, This design is also often called Trip Around the World, or Sunshine and Shadow. We especially like the pink and rose prints. Excellent piecework and nice uniform stitching. Quilted by an Amish woman. Signed and dated by Lancaster's renowned quilt designer C Jean Horst. This quilt is symmetric and may be used sideway on a king-size bed.
A single sheet of a fine golden beige on cream floral cotton print covers the back of the quilt. The quilting density is good, averaging about 100 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The stitching is very good with about 8 stitches per inch.A high quality quilt.
