A terrific anniversary or birthday gift
Wow! A lovely design with wonderful fabrics selected by quilt designer Dolores Yoder. Dolores made the top and an Amish friend did the fine quilting. Note the exceptionally precise and sharp piecing --outstanding! The coloring is truly captivating. The border fabric is close to Hershey chocolate brown.Dolores signed her name and the year (2008) in embroidery on the front of the quilt near one of the corners. Will look great on a king bed, or on a large wall it would make a stunning wall hanging.
The back of the quilt is covered with fine solid light brown cotton fabric. The quilting density is good, averaging about 120 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The stitching is very good with about 7 stitches per inch.A high quality quilt.
