A terrific anniversary or birthday gift
Even though there is lots of fine appliqué work this quilt has a quiet sophisticated look. The flowers in the center are especially attractive. The dark Navy border is also special -- we not seen anything like it before. Quilt designer Dolores Yoder made the top and an Amish friend did the fine quilting. Dolores signed here name and the year (2008) in embroidery on the front of the quilt near the lower right corner. May be used as a bed quilt on a king or tall queen size or as a stunning wall hanging.
The back of the quilt is covered with soft white cotton muslin. The quilting density is very good, averaging about 140 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The stitching is very good with about 8 stitches per inch.A high quality quilt.
