A terrific anniversary or birthday gift
Look at all those hearts -- those doves must really be in love. Tender coloring and a great combination of the Country Bride appliqué pattern with the Sunshine and Shadow (Trip Around the World) patchwork design. Well made -- note the care taken with the appliqué work. Made and signed on the back in ink by a Lancaster Amish woman.
A single sheet of soft cream white cotton muslin covers the back of the quilt. The quilting density is good, averaging about 100 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The stitching is excellent with 9 to 10 stitches per inch!A high quality quilt.
