Classic bright rendition of Lone Star design. Tan fill around star is called paper bag by the Amish. Note the fine patchwork piecing and quilting. Moss green border with Burgundy corners, and dark blue sash. Made here in Lancaster by an Amish woman.
The back of the quilt is covered with solid tan cotton fabric. The quilting density is good, averaging about 120 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The stitching is excellent with about 10 stitches per inch!A high quality quilt.
