A favorite Lancaster quilt design with lovely Navy and blue cotton prints. The background fabric is cream white cotton fabric. Note the care taken with the piecework and quilting by the Lancaster Amish woman who made it. This quilt is symmetric and may be used sideways on a larger size bed.
A single sheet of soft bleached cream white cotton muslin covers the back of the quilt. The quilting density is adequate, averaging about 80 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The stitching is straight and uniform with about 5 to 6 stitches per inch.A high quality quilt.
