A terrific anniversary or birthday gift
Dazzling variation on a compass star by quilt designer Dolores Yoder. Very attractive fabric selections, excellent piecing -- note all the extra excellent piecing on the sashes and abundant quilting . Delores made the top and an Amish woman did the quilting.
The back of the quilt is covered with traditional soft cream white cotton muslin. The quilting density is good, averaging about 110 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The stitching is very good with about 8 stitches per inch. A high quality quilt.
