A terrific anniversary or birthday gift
Another gorgeous original quilt by C Jean Horst with wonderful subdued coloring. Note the excellent applique work and the exceptionally fine fabric selections. Take a special look at the tone on tone background fabrics. Signed in embroidery and dated by its designer. Finely quilted by an Amish woman. Copyright pattern -- directions unavailable.
The back of the quilt is covered with an attractive golden beige on cream floral cotton print. The quilting density is good, averaging about 100 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The stitching is very good with 8 plus stitches per inch. A high quality quilt.
