A lovely patchwork (also called Hit or Miss) with over 5000 pieces! Note the attractive fabrics used and the fine piecework. The background fabric is traditional soft light cream cotton muslin. Made in Lancaster by an Amish woman. This quilt is symmetric and may be used sideways on a king-size bed.

A single sheet of soft cream white cotton muslin covers the back of the quilt. The quilting density is good, averaging about 90 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The stitching is good with about 7 stitches per inch. A high quality quilt.
