An amazing design by Lancaster's renowned designer C Jean Horst, super fabric selection, wonderful appliqué work, precise patchwork, interesting border, and great quilting. Note the abundance of quilting surrounding the center appliqué work. The background fabric is a white on ivory foliage print. Quilted by an Amish woman. Signed and dated by its designer. A single sheet of fine solid white cotton fabric covers the back of the quilt. The quilting density is very good, averaging about 130 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The stitching is good with about 7 stitches per inch. A high quality quilt.
