Pastel Triple Irish Chain Quilt

A Quilt Selected by Hannah
A terrific anniversary or birthday gift

Irish Chain quilts are known to have been made in Lancaster since the early 1800's. The solid pastel fabrics give this quilt a fresh cool look. Note the fine quilting and careful patchwork piecing. Made by an Amish woman in her own home. This quilt is symmetric and may be used sideways on a king-size bed.

The back of the quilt is covered with a solid cream white cotton fabric. The quilting density is good, averaging about 100 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The stitching is good with about 7 stitches per inch. A high quality quilt.

Given the quality of this handmade quilts' design and construction, as well the amount of effort that went into it, the price is remarkably low.
