Wow! C Jean Horst has outdone herself with this quilt -- 43 very rich prints are used and the patchwork is made up of over 7500 pieces. Lovely and amazing. Made here in Lancaster by an Amish woman. Note the precision of the patchwork piecing. Signed in ink on back by C Jean Horst.
The back of the quilt is covered with a fine golden tan on cream foliage cotton print. The quilting density is satisfactory, averaging about 75 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The stitching is good with about 7 stitches per inch. A high quality quilt.
