A classic quilt block embellished with appliqued grape vines and clusters of grapes. Note how well its maker picked fabrics that pick up the plum, purple, and blue colors of maturing grapes. Also be sure to note the charming white mottled fabric used around the basket. Nice applique work and fine quilting. Made by a Lancaster county Amish woman. Includes a pocket for a hanging rod.
