Wow what a pretty quilt! Splendid fabric selections. The patchwork piecing on Bargello quilts is exceptionally difficult, the Amish woman who made this quilt did very well. Note the border treatment with extra quilting. Signed and dated in ink on back by its maker (she calls it a Bar-Jello quilt).
A single sheet of solid white cotton covers the back of the quilt. The quilting density is good, averaging about 140 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The stitching is very good with about 8 stitches per inch. A high quality quilt.
