A terrific anniversary or birthday gift

Wow! Look at the fabrics selected for this stunning quilt. Note the finer than usual patchwork pieces as well as the care taken in assembling the patchwork. Lots of nice quilting in the open space surrounding the star. The appliqué work on the pillow fold is also excellent. Background fabric is solid cream white cotton fabric. Signed and dated by its maker.

The back of the quilt is covered with soft cream white cotton muslin. The quilting density is good, averaging about 120 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The stitching is good with about 7 stitches per inch. A high quality quilt.

A vivid eye-catching Lone Star pattern! Beautiful hues of purple with hints of teal. The border fabric has an elegant floral print. Note the fine piecing and quilting. The pillow tuck is a beautiful applique. Both the patchwork piecing and quilting were VERY well done by the local Amish woman who made it, signed and dated it.
