The Double Wedding Ring quilt symbolizes a never ending bond. The quilt was a favorite gift for young brides and has been extremely popular since the 1920's. Subtle and sophisticated with lots of history! Note the interesting collection of 100% antique style soft and pretty cotton prints selected for this quilt. Well quilted by Lancaster Amish woman. Signed and dated by its creator, C Jean Horst of Lancaster.
A single sheet of Moda parchment cotton fabric covers the back of the quilt, matching the front parchment fabric. The quilting density is good, averaging about 100 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The stitching is amazing with about 7 and 8 stitches per inch. The documentation tag in sewn on the lower back corner that notes the name of the quilt, the maker and the origin, the date and the made in America note. Beautiful! This quilt is available as any special order with colors of your choice! Be the designer if you would like! A high quality quilt.
