The Double Wedding Ring quilt symbolizes a never ending bond between a bride and a groom. Historically, this quilt pattern was a favorite wedding gift for young brides and has been extremely popular since the 1920's. Subtle and sophisticated with lots of history! Note the interesting collection of 100% cotton blue and taupe prints selected for this quilt as well as the perfectly round and intercepting rings. Well quilted by Amish woman. Signed and dated by its creator, C Jean Horst of Lancaster.
A single sheet of tone on tone tan 100% cotton fabric covers the back of the quilt. The quilting density is good, averaging about 100 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The stitching is amazing with 8 hand quilted stitches per inch. The documentation tag in sewn on the lower back corner that notes the name of the quilt, the quilter, origin, made in USA note. Beautiful! This quilt pattern is available as a special order with colors of your choice! You can be the color designer if you would like! We'll help. A high quality quilt.
