A classic design with curved piecing made with a wonderful collection of printed cotton fabrics made to look like a vintage quilt - especially selected by C Jean Horst (Lancaster's renowned quilt designer). This quilt is even more beautiful than the photographs! Signed by C Jean Horst. Well quilted and pieced by a local Amish woman. This quilt is symmetric and may be used on a giant wall space.
The back of the quilt is covered with a single sheet of an attractive light ivory cotton print to coordinate with the top fabrics. The quilting density is good, averaging about 75 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The stitching is very good with about 7-8 stitches per inch. Jean's quilts all are documented with a back corner tag with the name of the quilt, the maker, the location, the year, and a note about it being quilted by an Amish woman as well as a notation about made in America. A high quality quilt.
