What a charming but beautiful quilt. This pattern is an original by C Jean Horst and is NOW available for our fellow-quilt makers!!! Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like info in regards to purchasing the pattern and even the kit. BUT for the many of you who have NO interest in sewing, it is available here as a finished quilt. It is a tumbling blocks that has 9 blocks of dark fabrics, 9 blocks of medium fabrics and 9 blocks of light fabrics grouped together to make each large block. A real interesting grouping of many batik fabrics are used to create each of the sides of the blocks. It was pieced by an Amish woman and quilted using 7 - 8 hand stitches per inch. A nicely arranged design with incredible depth perception.
The backing of the quilt is covered with a tan 100% cotton print and is a very practical look. The corner tag documents the name of the quilt, the maker, the date, and the fabric contents as well as a note of being made in America by our Amish friends. A high quality quilt.
