Sunny Afternoon
Throw or Wall
Sunny Afternoon Throw or Wall(wh8189)
47 inches wide by 59 inches long -- $485
A gentle quilt depicting a sunny afternoon is beaming with creativity. The actual crystal like designs are formed by cutting 8 identical triangles - stack and whack method - per crystal and sewing them back together. Linda, an excellent piecer with creative use of fabrics, can make any fabric into an heirloom piece. Do not miss the creative border that was added using the same shapes but using different arrangements of the colors. The quilter also has used 8 hand stitches per inch in finishing the quilting job. Beautiful backing fabric coordinates with the top very nicely. It also has a sleeve for hanging or can be used as a throw. 100% cotton fabrics. Signed and dates.
