Sharp wall quilt! The sharp angles are contrasted with the beautiful border fabrics in an unusual design. The batiks are blended well on the borders and it appears like there is sunlight filtering through the tree tops. Memories of my childhood are of summers that turned into fall colors, creating a feeling of calmness as the leaves turned from green to orange. This is a beauty for a throw or for a wall. It has a sleeve for hanging, but could also be used as a cozy throw. It has a neural cotton backing, 7 - 8 stitches per inch and was quilted by an Amish woman. The documented back corner tag has the name of the design, the name of the maker, and the note to reflect it being made in America.
A high quality quilt.
